Title : busy for CDAYL...

hihi.. i'm finally away from CDAYL thingy le! btw, CDAYL stands for Cultural Diplomacy- Asian Young Leaders Convention 2008.. it involves e local sec skul students as well as foreigners from china, malaysia and hong kong.. this was a BIG EVENT as Mr Teo Ser Luck came to grace e occasion..this event was proposed by MOE and jj was invited to be part of it.. there is this International Chinese Riddle Competition proudly supported by CLDDS.. i was involved, and was in as stage crew.. stage crew consisted of 6 cldds members, some teachers and 6-7 avac members.. xinni and i were e only gers so we were rather lucky since there were more boys who can carry e heavy stuff.. haha.. thus most of our time were spent listening to songs in my mp3, walking here and there aimlessly, chit chatting and going to toilets.. haha..a few rehearsals were held for the past 3 weeks to prepare us well for this event.. both of us didn't do much cos we were over man-powered plus some of e members in cldds also came to help while they are free.. haha.. everytime we ask KM what we could do, he would always say 'HMM... so far dun have'.. so we were given time to slack or supervise them.. haha..so finally came e BIG EVENT!! day 1 was chinese riddle competition to sieve out e really good students who were adept at solving riddles.. they spent merely 4 secs to read e question and come out with e correct answers!! so pro siar.. wonder how they do it de.. haha.. so while e competition took place, e both of us were very free cos we just have to wait for it to end and pack up.. so there came a time when we were free and hungry.. we decided to go to e canteen.. sth funny happened..at 11 plus,we bought food from chicken gallery.. e uncle greeted us and bent down.. we thought what was he doing and then he read out our chinese names! cos we were given this official tags and our chinese names were printed there.. haha.. he ask us why we had to but food when we were provided with food.. we replied that we were hungry and he said in chinese,'just now i spoke to e principal for a long time and now u all are starved when u are helping in this event.. muz complain to him le..' he was really funny but that really made our day.. thus, we were provided with our long awaited lunch at 1 plus.. haha.. went back for lessons after that.. PC was cancelled just for this event.. so yay!! we are saved from torture!!day 2 ended earlier than day 1 as only e friendly match was held.. xinni and i went for meeting at 715 and saw no one at LT 5.. later we then knew that we only had to reach at 745.. we felt alright as we could compensate some time back for yesterday as we were late..haha.. we did more work cos everytime we saw some of e boys doing sth, we would follow them and help them and stuff.. haha.. we are finally made useful!! lolx.. but we still had time to slack.. so we went to e backstage boys toilet to slack.. we took pics, listen to songs, chit chat, gossip, etc.. luckily no boys dared to come in or we would be so embarrassed.. haha.. then later, we went to e backstage gers toilet cos we wanna use it.. there was this noticed being pasted outside e gers toilet which says, 'ATTENTION to e gers, this toilet is used for STORING OF EQUIPMENT, pls do not use it..' we only found out when we finished our businesses.. and e boys jammed outside e gers toilet cos they didn't dare come in when they saw us using it.. haha.. then one of e teachers-in-charge came in and told us that too.. we were a little embarrassed but we still think that e toilet can still be used as we use e toilet with cubicle doors rather than boys who urinate without any doors in e toilet.. haha.. anyway, we didn't use it except for washing our hands.. haha..after e friendly match ended, we cleared e stage and returned e equipment to their original places.. it was so much faster than preparing them like tearing e duct tapes rather than pasting them nicely on e floor.. we heard that there was this solving riddle thingy after that and so we went to help so as to not go for lessons.. haha.. we are saved from lessons AGAIN!! woohoo!!
e respective days were camps much similar to our jj orientation camps.. went to help e food attaches as we heard that there were only 6 of them to prepare 600 plates.. some incidenrs happened but they are bettter kept confidential.. haha.. but we managed to prepare 4oo plus plates within 30 mins!! so pro siar!! broke e jj record le!! next jean and i went to join e councillor gers in tying water bombs.. they are very nice and it was really fun and enjoyable with them around.. and u can get to noe more things that u dunnoe.. haha..got so tanned till sis ask me why i turn so dark all of a sudden.. haha..had muscle aches and sores on my hands just by tying water bombs.. can u imagine how many water bombs i tied? hundreds?shall continue my recitation on another blo9 entry cos got too much to say le.. lolx..
