hey.. can't wait to introduce you to my new pet, Buttery!! haha.. guess what? it's a caterpillar.. actually she got her name from her adult form.. a butterfly!! this is how i met her..

mum was trimming her plants one fine day and she chanced upon 2 caterpillars munching on her plants.. so she called me there and showed me.. at first i was disgusted by her slimy body.. then i realised i could actually watch her grow.. didn't noe it could actually evolve into a butterfly but at that time watching her grow was my decision..

she started eating a lot and growing bigger and longer each day.. then one morning, i found her turned into this..

i was very surprised cos it was my first time seeing this sight.. this went on for like 5 days? thought it died cos ants was like crawling inside le.. BUT.. this morning, sis called suddenly to tell me of this unexpected news..

she's so big ya.. didn't expect her to turn this big from a mere 2cm wide cocoon? btw.. i dunnoe her gender.. haha.. but i take it she's a ger..

her wings are not fully opened yet.. a little folded to e side.. hope she's just trying to rest and then start flying.. haha..

xhua heard this news and begged me to give her a caterpillar too.. haha.. i'll think about it.. haha.. XP
